not necessarily with a b20.... the pistons need to be gouged for valve reliefs or they will hit.

not to mention, it isnt as simple as "bolting" the vtec head on to the block.

if you wanna take the time, spend the money, and do it right, a b20 vtec will yeild far more power but i wouldnt say it is easier than swappin the pistons out and putting some beefier cams.
