First of all, I apologize if I sound like a b*tch, but I'm just mind boggled and I need to vent somewhere.

Well I have a VERY close friend that I've known for like 5 years but been like brothers for about two years....his name is Chris. Well he has a friend named Mike, same age, I'm pretty coo with him too but not like buddy buddy.

Well it's this female named Ashley, she's around 17 too, she's been friends with Chris and Mike longer than I have. I've only known her for about 3 weeks now. The thing is, she used to like my friend Chris but he messed up a few times and now they are just friends. He still tries to mess with her but she was more into Mike, now Mike pushed her away a few times and she got a lil upset but i guess she still likes him a little. When I met her 3 weeks ago at Chris' house she recognized me from my *ahem* civic.. :naughty:. Well I recognized her cause all 3 of them went to my old high school. They are all like 17 turning 18 and im 18 turning 19. I have a late birthday so i was out of highschool 16 turning 17...:fawk:

Well anyways..I wasn't really obsessed over her until later that night when i realized she was on my buddy list as a phone number cause i had it saved for when me and Chris made prank phone calls. Instead of calling her at like 11oclock i night, i sent a text message to her phone ( Dummy move ). Well she sent a text back right away and i tell her who I was. Well she instant messages me from her screen name and from there, we are just lil..i guess online buddy buddy. Time progresses and I see her again when Chris has a card game going at his house and invites me, Mike and her. Bleh..I'm getting a little more attached...but i don't really show it, she doesnt mention anything about me and her being coo to Chris or Mike nor Do i.... ( yea...kind of messed up ).

Another week goes by...and i mean i send her text messages here and there when im in class and online. Once or twice i gave her a visit while she was at work.

Well just today I even let her borrow my abosulete favorite Smirn Off Ice black and white racing cotton twill jacket...to wear to school monday.

I dunno if i like her like that, or want to cause of my friend Chris who likes her and I'm not even sure if she would ever feel the same about me..I mean not to get racial but I never really been infatuated by a caucasian female like this before... ( I'm black and asian and both chris and mike are caucasian too ). I know she's into other races but still I feel as if it's impossible that nothing could ever happen...she also has alot of male friends so i feel as if there is also much comp....


I need some of that Dr. Phil help..

 

If you want to spend some time with her, then spend some time with her. It's not a huge step and it certainly doesn't mean you'd be dating her. People have to actually spend some time together before that happens, ya know?

I don't understand how hanging out with her is disrespecting your friends. She's not actually dating Chris or Mike.

Just hanging out, getting to know someone better and becoming friends shouldn't threaten anyone.

 

So tell your buddies that you like her and want to spend some time with her. It's not like if the two of you grab some dinner together you're having sex. I don't see the harm in it.

How can you be "attatched" to someone that you haven't even spent time with alone?

This situation sounds like stuff that happens all of the time broski!! Don't worry about stuff too much man. Don't turn into me You have to spend more time with her in order to develop what trace feelings you may have for her. The more time you spend with her, the better and more able you wil be able to understand her and see what her personality is like. About your friends, just tell them that everything is chill and that maybe you are just a little bit interested in her. Just try not to make a huge deal of it. Relax!! If she does like you, make sure she likes the real you and not an image you put up for her to fall for you. Good luck!

 

so your best friends with chris and you've never talked about this?? this is what best friends are for.. they are supposed to know EVERYTHING about each other... talk to him about it and get his opinion.. thats what i'd do.. if its cool with him then do what u want with her.. fawk this mike guy, he aint yer business
