exhaust, cam, pulley
Now, I am decide to buy exhaust, and after reading some feedback I think I am going with Comptech. I also want to get cam and pulley. Any brand or type would anyone suggested?
Thanks.
Thanks.
He means AEM cam gears, they only have 3 bolts and like to slip.

Yeah, I did a search in this forum and no one recomend aem cam, so I lean toward to Jun II, Toda, or Spoon. The problem is I want a good combination with pulley, exhaust. I really like turbo and JRSC but since the car is for commute between work and school only (I put about 110 miles/day) so I think I would stay NA, unless somebody recomend me on the turbo and how to maintaince it. As for time being, should I just get exhaust first.
If I decide to go turbo, I see many recommend to get cam after turbo kit. Money is not going to be that big a deal 'cause I will save up for a while and it's sorta like my project.
Any comment recommendation will be greatly appreciated.

Oh and one more thing. I know it's important factor on where power band I should aim for. I don't know where should I set my powerband at, but I want a source of power that if I pack 3 passengers in my car (4 people total including me), and when I accelerate, I want them to wet their pants
THAT's the power that I want. However, I don't want straight out drag though, as I said reliability is very important too.

the cams for turbocharged engines are typically short duration and high lift, because you dont want overlap[intake and exhaust valves open at the same time] or else you will force compressed air out of the cylinder. I'd wait on the cams, until you get your turbo on there. And if money isnt an issue, just gimmie $7000 and I'll put the best turbo that money can buy[j/k]. As far as exhaust, I'd get a 2.75" or 3" piping, but that would be extrlemely loud on a n/a car, so i would wait on that till you get a turbo too.
