Default HP from these mods, and suggestions?

My plan is to get a '88-'91 Civic or Rex. And have planned to do a swap later, but if I had the car, i'd just want it make some good power until the swap. So heres what I had in mind, and would like some suggestions on how much HP these mods would give.

D15B2

I/H/E, adjustable cam gear, venom 400.

For an intake, I don't have a certain brand chosen, I just want a cold-air setup. For header, I either thought Chikara or DC. Exhaust, I don't know yet, I might get one of those Tenzo mufflers, and some custom piping.

I don't know much about the Venom 400, anyone know about this thing? What does it do exactly with the ECU?

I haven't heard good things about AEM cam gears, so I don't know which one i'll get, unless someone gives me some good feedback about a certain brand.

Thanks

i wouldn't spend much money on the d15b2...some of the parts won't even swap over if you just upgrade to a stronger d series engine (i.e. a cai on a dpfi unit will not fit one on a mpfi b/c of the different intakes)...just drive it around...gut it if you are going to do it anyway and save up the money for the engine you are getting and buy it earlier than you would have if you bought mods for the d15b2

The amount of money you will spend on I/H/E, gear, and the venom (which is a pile of crap, btw) can buy you a cable b16 engine. Which means that for the price of a mount kit and assorted goodies, you'd have a b16 4th gen.

I'd really advise you to just save up.

If you really can't stand not to mod it a little, you could do suspension upgrades. None of those will go out the window when you swap.

I'd figure MAYBE 10 whp from those mods.

Thanks guys, I had in mind of swapping. Maybe a ZC, or the rex Si 1.6L.

I can get a ZC for 350 bones at the JDM place near here. My friend swapped a ZC in his '90 CRX Si and runs 14.50's with I/H/E, ignition, cam gear, and stage 2 clutch.

Suspensions mods are definately something i'm gonna do. I'll probably do that first, since you guys suggested it. And save up for a swap.

Of course, just for a little pep, I can always rig a "custom" intake
