Well thanks alot guys. I'll have to break the news to him. So reasonably 250HP is something he can reach with pistons, rods, upgraded fuel system, and computer...along with the turbo parts, right?

It'd would be best to use a H22A, but its too heavy and would cause handling problems (from what I've read). Too bad, I thought the B18 would hold 300whp. I don't think he'd want to be replacing his block every year though because it gives out. Well, thanks anyways guys. If you have any more suggestions let me know.

I hear that with the FMAX Turbo kit for the B18C1 on stock internals, if properly tuned puts out close to 300whp, if not more. Look into that or research my old threads in the civic forums. I had a lot of good posts.

I really advise against the FMax kit because of their extra injector setup. So ghetto.

speed=money sorry to tell u... i have easily spent over 5k on my crx in the past 2 years and it has about 140 hp now, after i blew out my b16, time to start all over again, but im not gonna turbo i'll use the bottle this time.

why not just get a b18b or a b20, save a little money, and build up the internals for the boost.

correct me if im wrong please, upgrading the valvetrain isnt necessary on a turbo app. because you wont be reving too high, right?
