Default bench bleed? or full system?

well, i have a new master cylinder waiting to go on. my question is this- if im planning on bleeding the whole system, do i need to bench bleed the master cylinder? or can i just install it and bleed all the lines?

Bench bleed it. If you don't, you'll likely never rid the system of air and be pumping for EVER. You have to re-bleed the whole system when you replace the master cylinder anyways, the tell you to bench bleed it for a reason
