Looking for a full functioning ram air intake. This thread explaines a little.

Since it looks as if there is nothing in existance, could i put the injen cold air extention on my AEM short ram. Will they fit the same as an all AEM CAI. Anyone tryed that??? Looks as if i'm going to have to make my own ram intake.

hey what kinda of car first, and is sohc and dohc that would help because the sohc cold air is two piece and the dohc is one piece cold air.
Im sure you can mod the aem cold air to fit the injen just need to find out what size piping you are using(2.5,2.75,3 inch) then get a matching sized injen kit would most likly work just need try and find out

Ram air is a gimmick that usually has no real value until around 80 mph. Even then the positive pressure of the air over the car would be greatest at the break between the hood and windshield, not the leading edge of the hood, or the bumper. That's the reason for so many cowl induction hoods on fox bodies lately.

I have a 94 DX Coupe. 1.5 ltr sohc. On the front bumper i have the 3 grill guards cut out and metal latec installed. The fog light hole on the right side is cut out. Thinking of making a funnel that flows staight to the filter. Not really ram are but fresh air from the front of the car.
