Default jdm dohc zc in a 92 cx hatch help please!

I'm getting ready to swap a dohc1.6 jdm zc into mt 92 cx hatch. I've found the motor, trans, ecu combo and I know that I need 90-93 integra axles, but what else? Does anyone know the wiring mod or where I should go for a cusom harness? Also, What about the motor mounts? Is everything else stock? (throttle cable, shift linkage, radiator and hoses) This will be my first swap and I'm a little freaked out. I need to make sure that I have everything I need before I start. I know most people don't go for this swap, but I'm on a tight budget and have to replace the stock motor now. I was goning to wait and save for an Sir2 swap(92-95) but I've fried the stock rings and must change motors soon. If anyone has any info or advice it would be great. Any help will be appreciated.

i'd recommend going with a si motor if you are on a budget, or even an LS. I don't even think the ZC ever cam with a hydro trans, I may be wrong, but thats what I remember. SOHC VTECS can be found for almost as cheap as ZC's if you look around.

I had a friend that used the CX tranny with his si swap for awhile, then traded it for an Si tranny and said it was like night and day, so that might be another thing you want to consider.

yeah, it just takes time looking, what was the reason you were considering the ZC, price?

Well I got myself a Dohc ZC, I'll have about $2500 into the block when I get it back from the shop... Why "Waist" so much money in a "D" series engine? Two reasons: 1. Its the underdog and everyone has a B sereis engine. 2. Bisi... When Im done with this engine build I will be well into the 200 HP area Naturaly Asperated... If I dont get the 170 WHP I am looking for I'll use nitrouse oxide. So far its now a 1.7L with 11.16:1 CR forged aluminum pistons and eagle rods. All clearances checked and all bearings changed. Everything is balanced to 10,000 Rpm's, got a UR lightened pully kit and a CM lightened larger diameter flywheel.
Thats what I got done pretty much so far.
Head is getting hardwelded/ground cams stainless steal valves and new rocker arms (no nead for a P&P, these heads seem to flow better than MOST B series) The intake manifold is being cut open and reworked, I'll be using a 62mm Gude TB and a AEM CAI with a DC 4-2-1 Header to move the exaust which will be hooked to a straight 2 1/4 pipe all the way back (Left side muffler to avoid the bend of death) Bigger injectors and a AEM fuel rail will deliver which will be controlled by a ZDyne PM7 Ecu. I may be using a Cusco LSD setup later on, but for the moment I owe the shop $800 so I will get that later down the line...
I'll keep ya posted on how this thing goes!

Yeah, Price and dohc are the two reasons for considering the zc. I keep getting mixed feedback though. Some say that it is an easy, cheap swap that has good potential. Others say that unless the motor is 92 or newer--don't do it. I've been emailing a guy in Cali that did the exact same swap but with an si trans. What do you guys think? - attempt the zc or go with a sohc vtec from a usdm si?

Well legality is a big thing too... I know here in cali its ilegal to drop a ZC But if you got frends you can still get it smoged. Si trany would probably be the way to go. They have 92+ DOHC ZC's in fact they made them all the way till 98 so there are plenty of new ones ready to be shiped from japan (Mines a 94) There is also a large aftermarket suport for these engines in japan (I have an importer that lives there) Unfortunatly these parts are TAXED by the time they get here Lookin at about $750 for a NICE set of headers. Probably not legal iether.
