Default gsr head build??????small scraches help

i have a gsr head that i got f$rom a trade but it has small scratches on cam journals i just wantedd to kno if i can use it

Picks? Will the cam spin free with springs and valves out? They can be re honed at a machine shop but it is not cheap.

Shit I would run it. Get some emery cloth and polish it up a bit if you are really worried. All the load is fighting the cam caps not the head due to the valve springs pushing up.

but there kind of deep you dont think it would damage the cams???

its cause ima be running a b20vtec and want to build the head and this head its already port and polish this is wat i got for the head
skunk2 springs and retainers
skunk2 stage 2 camshafts
skunk2 cam gears
skunk2 intake manifold
70mm throttle body
and block 11.5:1 weisco pistons, eagle h-beam rods..im just worry about it.. you think those little scraches affect the setUp...??

You should be fine. Do some reading/googling on skunk springs and retainers I have heard some bad stores about them.

no i havent heard any thing about the springs and retainers should i run stock springs and retainers, i think is just that im not going to be able to raise rmps heigher either right ...are b16 and gsr spring have the same tension??
