My old Plymouth Acclaim could do that too! One time, I started it and left the keys inside, drove 20 mins and turned it off. I had to call my friend and have him deliver my keys to me. :doh:

Yep. My 1985 Buick Regal did that as well. Old domestic ignition switches and keys wore out often, so the tublers weren't as tight. You could remove the key in any position after about 80,000 miles~

yo guys be careful when u leave ur keays in the car the lady across teh street from me had that habit and then oneday someoen just stole it and it showed up a week later stripped compleatly. so juss to be on the safe side watch wuts going on around ur house and nebhiorhood. just my 2 cents
