Default which built is faster ???

Hi everyone

B16A upbore and increase the the compression ratio to 12:1 with 100 wet shot. or
B18C with a T3 with 20 PSI. which engine will be faster for straight street run? ? ? ?

and issit difficult to tune a compression ratio 12:1 engine if its feed with 98 octane level pump gas ? ? ? ? ? and is that compression ratio too high to run 100 wet shot ? ? ?

Does anyone here have any under bonnet picture with wet set up ? ? i want to see whether issit obvious wet set up is to attach a injector somewhere on the intake correct ? ? can it be fixed on the under side of the intake to make it not as obvious ? ?

Sorry for all the ignorant questions Help me please experts here i need to decide on my future setup ThankzZ in advance

As a general rule, you can make the most power with a turbo charger. Thats not to say you can't make wicked No2 power, and it will be significantly cheaper. I personally don't like either, I've seen NA cars that are just as quick as mild turbo cars and have way more reliability.

If you want balls out speed, run a big shot of nitrous. Nothing adds more torque per hp than nitrous. If you want to run a 100 shot, you're gonna need to buy a direct port kit, where each intake runner has it's own nozzle. You can tap the manifold underneath it to hide the nozzles, but it's a b*tch to change jets that way.

actually horsepower is torque.... If you have a torque curve, you can figure out your horsepower curve, that is why you hear people talking about a flat torque curve, as apposed to a flat horsepower curve. The formula for horsepower is (Tq*RPM/5252). For those of you really quick on the ball, you would've figured out that when your rpm is 5252, the RPM/5252 part is one, or the formula for horsepower would be torque times one. Basically torque would be equal to horspower at 5252 rpm. Check it out on some dyno sheets.

Oh i've read that for Wet set up, you can go up to 120 shot but i know u are experiance in Nitrous so i gonna trust u. what is the maximum for a Wet set up ? ? ? and will a B16 upbored resleeved with forge internal running the maximum Wet shot be faster then a B18C with T3 running 20PSI ? ? ? ? ?

I know the equation for hp. Show me 75 flywheel hp added from a turbo laying down more torque than a motor with a 75 shot, since most nitrous kits are rated at the flywheel..all except NX. That 75 shot puts out around 100ft/lbs of torque.

And whoever said a single fogger is good to a 125 shot doesn't sound like they have firsthand experience. Above a 75, you have MAJOR distribution problems.

wow thankzZ dat means i can only go with 75 wet shot the most correct ? ? ? i wanted to stop are wet system because direct port is too much for a Nitrous Beginner and i find it too exaggerated for a daily driven car :P

Thankz again Dubster

just run a stock ls motor, 20psi on a t04b and a 50 shot.. look in the feburary edition of sport compact car and check out the red hatch my friend has. (the article is 8mo old) but more recently the car has run 12.0 on street tires.

at least with that kind of setup you have some stout power on the street and that extra bit of power when you need it.. unlike a pure n2o setup
