actually horsepower is torque.... If you have a torque curve, you can figure out your horsepower curve, that is why you hear people talking about a flat torque curve, as apposed to a flat horsepower curve. The formula for horsepower is (Tq*RPM/5252). For those of you really quick on the ball, you would've figured out that when your rpm is 5252, the RPM/5252 part is one, or the formula for horsepower would be torque times one. Basically torque would be equal to horspower at 5252 rpm. Check it out on some dyno sheets.
