take a look at: http://www.ap-engineering.com/header.html

it gives some numbers on different headers. note that only one of these headers is street legal here in the US (comptech 4-2-1). this is just to give you an idea as every car and engine is different.

I got a set of stainless DC 4-1 headers for about 350 a little more than a year ago. I'd reccomend them. I just checked wholesalehyper and they got them for a hair over 375. Might wanna look into that.

All of the JDM headers(Toda, Mugen, OEM JDM 4-1, JDM DC, etc) have a 2.5" collector, and will not bolt up to your stock cat. You will need a 2.5" cat, and have a flange put on it to match the JDM header if you choose to run one. You can have this done at a muffler shop, or purchase a cat pre-made to fit JDM headers:

As a general rule 4-2-1 headers give a bit more torgue while 4-1 give more top end HP. Same applies to pipe size, smaller more torgue, larger more top end HP.
