Yes the head will work. You need to mofify a few things on the head and run an external oil line for it to supply vtec. You need the VTEC ecu from the motor the head is from, and you'll have to wire the vtec. However, it takes more than just bolting on the head to make it reliable. Try a search for lsvtec, it's been talked about over and over.

Oh! This is a NON VTEC motor? I had not known! Thanks dub... Um, is the LS/VTEC any good for "ALL MOTOR"? And since you live in calli as do I, would this be a problem at the reff station?

Yes it would be a smog problem, it won't pass visual.

Yea.... I got a fend like that. But he cant put an engine tag on der... If I get pulled over and a police officer looks at it and knows anything about honda's (wich is common around here, my frend got pulled over and the cop imeadiatly spoted his headers and TWM throtle bodie and sent his ass to the reff) then I will be skrewed and my investment will be worthless.
