Yes the head will work. You need to mofify a few things on the head and run an external oil line for it to supply vtec. You need the VTEC ecu from the motor the head is from, and you'll have to wire the vtec. However, it takes more than just bolting on the head to make it reliable. Try a search for lsvtec, it's been talked about over and over.
