If you run a hotter heat range plug, you can run more risk of burning off the electrode, or experiencing pre-ignition. If you can get away with it though, they will provide a hotter burn in the cylinder.
As for buying more expensive "gimmick" plugs, that's up to you, but properly cleaned and maintained [and replaced at a regular interval] coppers will perform just as well if not better.

IK16 is recommended for all gen6 accord. .44 gap and 16 range. next step down is IK20s a little colder but the same gap. IK22s are way cold (.35 gap).
