Default Denso Iridiums quick Q

I'm thinking of getting a set of ik22 Denso Iridiums for my 97 DX - do you think I'll be running too cold or will it be fine? I have a set of Bosch Platinums in right now and I heard they're crap...any suggestions? Thanks!

NGk Copper, the best conductor.

I feel platinum and irridium plugs are a waste of money, when NGK coppers work so well. Plus, you could buy like at least 5 or 6 sets of NGK coppers for the price of one set of irridium plugs.

Well, I mean there won't be a problem with them though right? A friend of mine said they're 2 ranges colder than I need. He recommend IK16's because the engine needs to get hot for the carbon deposits to burn off of the spark plugs or something...

Why are you running two heat ranges colder? Unless you're running FI, there's no reason to run a colder plug.

I figured they'd be better than the Bosch Plats - I'm upgrading little by little, so I figured if I get a really good price on them I'd get them...I'm getting 4 for like 15.00...

Use Factory Plugs, they work great. Denso Iridum plugs SUCK, they are a waste of $$$. Unless your running FI use a plug that is of equal or quality as the stock ones are. Hondas Electiral system is perfectly fine unless your running FI, or have a seriously built motor.
