for you accord peeps, you guys would want another type of lsvtec, the h23/h22 vtec setup. I've seen it done. Dude had a 95 accord with a h23 bottom end and a h22 head. he said it hauled ass.

The only problem with that is that a h23/h22 (Frankenstein Conversion) is very expensive. The H22a usually offers enough power.

LSVTEC/CRVTEC:

B series vtec head: b16a/b18c5, b18c1
B series nonvtec block: b18b, b20b/z

You wanna do it right, its gonna cost you...but it will haul ass.

Balance rotating assembly
Forged pistons/rods
ARP studs
Crank girdle
Oil squirters
Valvesprings & retainers

Then it'll be reliable to 9k+

i havent dyno yet and the reason why I didnt get aftermarket rods is because im not planing to rev any higher then 8500. Aftermarket rods are good if you want to rev pass 8500+. And I dont think lsvtec or crvtec is good for 9k rev. So my crvtec is set up for mild set up and hoping to hit 13's.

I have ran it at the track before in Fontana in CA. I ran 14.2@97mph on falken v rate tires and full interrior. At that time My this engine isn't even tune and my head is stock =).
So i'll be getting hondata stage 2 and tune soon. But i'll keep you giddy people updated =)

Peace , Oh yah this is a swap into a 00 bone stock looking si. =)
