I got a h22a in a 96 civic hatchback... What are the things i need to change to make it legal to get it teasted and pass the B.A.R test?Help anybody.... JUST MAKE A LIST IF YOU KNOW SOMETHING
what if my engine is a JDM H22 1995 on a 96? but still has all OBD2 Emmisions? Would that work?
Call this # 1800-622-7733. It's the hot line to schedule a ref appointment. You can call this number and request your local B.A.R ref. I am assuming you are in California. I myself am in San Diego and my local refs name is Michael Muller of Southwestern college in Chula Vista. When you call, the operator will ask you a basic rundown of your setup, then will send the info to the ref. The ref will call you within a day or so and go through step by step everything he or she will look for on test day. Some refs will let certain things slide and some wont. But whoever it is they will lead you in the right direction. It is a very simple process and it only costs about $40. Hope this helps,
Eric

that 95 h22 in a 96 civic might not fly
do you know what ecu your running?
everything is OBD2.. Or at least it is now. I changed all the OBD1 setups to Obd2 and the only thing that might come up OBD1 is the engine block cuz all the other things are changed.. And i heard that all they see is if the car has the emmision standards for its year and if not then it wont pass.. But emission standards on a 96 are obd2
no JDM motors are are allowed the B.A.R. certification this stopped 3 years ago only USDM motors since you have a 96 it would be out of a 96 or newer prelude with the OBD2 ECU to pass.

So a 1994 Honda Del Sol /w USDM 1995 B18C will pass B.A.R.?
