Default Dart Block

Im looking to build a dart block. I got a shell and itr suspension coming. Turbo it deffinitly a must. Low comp pistons, micro polished itr crank, crower rods. i have a few ideas but i figure some of you guys can give me some imput on good products and bank for buck.

just find a b18c block and have it sleeved. it'll come out much cheaper than a dart block. remember, dart blocks are BARE. they only come with the main caps so you still need a donor block for all the little odds and ends.

but it is completly reinforced.. all weak points are addressed. is it really not that important????

the only advantage i see a dart block has over a regular sleeved b18 is you can get one in a tall deck height so you can run a stroker crank and long rods. other than that i see no other reason to get one.

besides, the real weak point with a b block when pushing lots of power are the sleeves. at which point you just resleeve.

ok so then after sleeving whats a real good turbo setup im looking for reliablity and enough power so i have traction... i was thinking towards 350 like 325 range... im putting a role cage and want my tranny to have a LSD...

what's your budget for just the turbo kit? i could go off recommending some great kits but if they dont fit in your budget it's pointless. dont forget internals, fuel and engine management.

I am looking for power and reliability. what its gonna cost is what it is.. i hate being left to walk.

If you are only shooting for 350whp a Dart block is way overkill.

Right now i heard GSR cranks are good for 800hp... Micro polish woudl be just fine.. is that right??
