Buddy club spec III can handle between 10:1 Cr To 13:1 cr. and the spec III's have a longer Duration than the skunk2 stage 2's or 3's. and the specIII's are a lot better for daily driving then the spec IV's. Spec 4's say race and street use but they seem more like they are better suited for track use, also it's will be vary hard to pass emmissions with the spec 4. spec 3 or 4 will both give a lot more power than skunk2 cams will! Oh, and if you are running that high of a CR you need hondata S300 to SAFELY and Properly tune your car!!

well buddy club spec 3 cams yes are pretty aggressive with the duration i run them myself, when i first put them in it sounded like a v8 under my hood but the timing wasnt 100 and it wuld not idle but i went out haulin ass with stock valvetrain and missed a gear.. there goes bent valves, and one of my valve keepers are half way on so i almost dropped a valve.. so no matter what cams you get, make sure you get valve train.. but the buddy club spec 3 lift isnt that good.. but i was just helping him on what would be great cams for his set up not everyone wants buddy clubs because they have the best duration.. but it all depends on what people want, how big they want them.. and btw i did get my head fixed with new valves, valvetrain and i put the cams back in with perfect timing, it idles better then it ever has, i have it idling at 900 rpms and when i bought the car it idled at 1250 and could never get it to idle better.. and normally with aggresive cams your car will idle high and have a weird idle because it is loping but the buddy club spec 3's dont lope as much as you think they would..

i agree with you. reading and doing alot of research on the buddy clubs, i would ugrade the valvetrain when using any of the buddyclub cams!!! Horsepower wise, what are you running at?
