12:1-12:5 compression is fine for pump gas just use 93, and tuning can be critical ive seen ppl get away with 12.5 compression with just a VAFC ... 13 or more compression requires race gas or better gas.. and as far as cams go... if your in the 12's with compression get buddy club spec 4's or 5''s (havent heard too many ppl with spec 5's but ive heard good things about the spec 4's).. if you dont get buddy club's get skunk2 stage 3.. i kno someone with 12.5 compression and skunk2 stage 2 was not enough cam for that compression..
Buddy club spec III can handle between 10:1 Cr To 13:1 cr. and the spec III's have a longer Duration than the skunk2 stage 2's or 3's. and the specIII's are a lot better for daily driving then the spec IV's. Spec 4's say race and street use but they seem more like they are better suited for track use, also it's will be vary hard to pass emmissions with the spec 4. spec 3 or 4 will both give a lot more power than skunk2 cams will! Oh, and if you are running that high of a CR you need hondata S300 to SAFELY and Properly tune your car!!
