with my built head set-up..........what compression should i go for with a gsr block........someone recommended like 9.8.1 or high nines for daily driver application but i was thinking that this might be a little low? If you don't intend on boosting, that is too low. For an N/A built 11.5-12:1 would be a good compression ratio.
Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem. I am assuming you have some sort of engine management lined up because you can't just slap all this together and expect it to run right with the stock ECU.
