RC injectors into b16???
ok so i was just wondering if anyone has a link or info, so i can install my 440 injectors, like do i need any harnesses, or can i wire them in or do they just work with existing set-up? im a noob for sure with injectors. please any info help.. thanks guys. im trailering the car to the dyno so i wont be driving it. just want it all set up befor i go.
All aftermarket (well, all that I've used) injectors use OBD1 clips (PM me if you need some). If you have an OBD2 car then you'll need to cut your current connectors and wire the OBD1's on. No big deal. You'll also want to get the RC injectors that are low impedance because if you get the high impedence ones, like DSM injectors, you'll have to run resistors on the wiring to lower the impedance. That's really all there is to it. Be careful putting the o-ring end into the fuel rail so as to not pinch the o-ring because they break fairly easily and will leak. I usually put a very small amount of oil (engine oil) on the o-rings before I slid them into the fuel rail to help them slide and not roll. I believe that the RC's also come with their own seats that go into the intake manifold, so be sure to use those. Just take note of how your stock ones come out and reverse the steps when putting the RC's in.
the stock injectors are perfectly adiquate for up to 20% over stock, there is absolutly no need to change them out unless they have failed in some way of the car is receiving forced induction

ok...thats get this striaght, so my car is currently obd0 and is going to be converted to obd1. the injectors are SL9-440, which are used for 0bd1. my 91crx currently has a resistor box, since there high resistance, i think i have to cut the injector wires off a 92-95 civic and wire them up to my stock crx ones. and un hook the resistor box. was also wondering do i just un-plug the resistor box and im good??
