alright well now that my post has turned into a flame fest let me get this strait. seems like most people like the b16 head with a port and polish. fairly consistant with what HT said so it sounds like a good idea. as far as boosting goes should i switch out to a lower comp piston, say 9.5ish. should i bother sleeving the block with darton or whoever, my goal is above 11's so im looking prolly over 300hp. correct me if im wrong im just going off what i see on other cars. mydel sol should be lighter than alot of cars so maybe not so much HP is necessary. thanks again for your responses in advance

If you have a competent tuner, stock sleeves should easily hold up to your power goals. I would definitely go with forged pistons and rods, though. You could probably do 11's with 300 whp, slicks, and a good driver.

Sounds like you've been reading too many threads on message boards. Same to all of you spouting out "B16". None of you know what you're talking about that have mentioned this. This thread hurts me to read with all of the misinformation. Run a GSR head on your GSR block. You'll be much better off. Trust someone that's done it.

Again, bull sh|t. The next person that posts "B16" better give a reason. Why in the world would you use a B16 head over anything else? Cause that's what you 'heard'? :uhhok:
