Default Prelude Crankshafts

Does anyone know of a site with specifics on the crankshafts used per year? I know it was changed in '99, but how about from 4th to 5th gen? Or Closed to Open block (a1 to a4)?

I have three motors, two '97's and a '99... All three need crankshafts and bottom end work. I found a '94 VTEC crankshaft today for a good price. I know it won't fit the '99, but will it go in the '97 with new main bearings? Thanks, Your help would be appreciated!

why don't you bring one or all of your blocks to where you found the crank and attempt to fit them with the 94 vtec. how much are you picking up the 94 crank for?

The crank is in Colorado and I'm in Alabama, so that isn't possible.... I just went ahead and got the crank... I paid 125.00 for it

Default Crank arrived yesterday...

The crankshaft arrived and looks good... I got it in the block, and noticed that the main bearing journals look too small for the block. This is a '99 block and a '94 crankshaft. Does anyone know if the '94 uses larger bearings than the '99, or is the block different? Thanks
