Honestly, there's no good reason to use an aftermarket crank unless you are making truly outrageous (high 3 digits) horsepower.

4340 is a very strong steel alloy.

Eagle offers a 4340 Cro-moly lightweight crankshaft that comes with knife edged counterweights but it is very pricey. The stock crankshaft isn't made from the same materials but it can be lightened in the same fashion by a machine shop. Like qtiger said, the stock crankshaft is plenty sufficient for even super high hp applications.

Stock is fine, just get it balanced.

only reason to run an aftermarket forged crank is if you're running a bigger stroke (92mm+)

the stock cranks can take whatever you throw at them.
