Default GSR tranny

Hey all, is there any wasy to physically differenciate a LS(s80)5 speed tranny from a GSR(y80) tranny? besides the looking at the label which usually isnt there?

Drive it, and see what rpms you are at on the freeway....compare that to a car you know has an ls/gsr tranny.

Externally, I don't think there is any way to differentiate between the two besides the sticker, sorry. If you look through the diff hole and can see straight through it, the tranny has a LSD and is most likely a VTEC tranny, but all the USDM GS-R's won't have one, so that won't really help you. Seeya.
