My project hatch and his new friend!
*****in! (ha ha). Good luck with the swap. A quick heads up, get your axle's nut off! They're a 32mm nut in the center of your brakes and they suck. You'll need a really big breaker bar that will last and some muscle or you'll need a garage with a powerful impact gun (some 400-500 ft/lb 1/2" impacts wont' do it). New nuts are $2 from Honda, so get new ones. Aside from that the shift linkage pin is a pain, I recommend you clamp a junk bolt in a small pair vice grips and go at it with a hammer and tilt the motor, tranny down when pulling it out. Buy good fluids too, including Honda MTF. Good luck. Seeya.

Hey Andy, mad props on the Honda MTF. I was puttin my swap in and of course the whole crew was there and they made fun of me for buying fluids from the dealer. They said that 10W30 would have been good enough, not for my tranny.
Ha ha, tell them to keep laughing when their tranny starts grinding when you shift into 3rd like mine is. Right fluid for the job is best. Seeya.
