Default Allmotor B20 nonvtec vs B16 both having the same tranny and mods and chasis

The title says the question. What's faster in the 1/4 mile. I already know the answer to this one (b20 obviously) but I'd like to get other opinions and there reasons why they feel which one is faster than the other. Ya'll can even state which one accelerates faster on the highway too. That one I also feel the B20 but that scenerio is much closer and based on which motor is more healthy and who is the better driver because I do remember one occasion where a B16 beat me from a 3rd role on when I was non vtec but the odds were against me that day anyway because he had way more mods than me plus I had a 210lb passenger. That was the only time though. All of my other experiences with B16s brought me Ws, 1/4 mile and Highway.

Also mods and others please don't get mad or flame because these threads only bring publicity to the site and are fun. Well to me there fun
Oh yeah another thing please don't ask me to search because I made this thread for a specific reason. Friendly discussion/debate

B20 has more displacment but the b16 i think would pull harder top end then bottom end becasue they have no torque

I would stay away from b20 if its not going to be fully built. I had one and i cracked the ringlands twice. thats when i decided to buy a b16a long block and drop it in. There is a article in a old honda tuning magazine that has three eg chassis hatchbacks and 2 of the 3 had all-motor built b20 blocks that made alot of power. My b20 had a t3 turbo pushing around 14 psi, no tune, fmu for fuel managment. It was way fun because of the torque though.

I'd go with a built N/A B18C5, it would own both.

Well of course a built c5 will beat a stock b16a. My buddy has a stock internal stock block with cortney greens' setup and thats garenteed around 400 whp.

If I had to go all motor with a honda, the b18c5 would be my choice. If all boost, I'd run the top K series known of, get it tuned with Black Magic and be up around 600whp

the gsr is the same as the c5 just with better stuff. So if you re going to build it anyway then why not go with a c1?

thats where YOU fucked up on ur B20... Pushing 14 PSI on a untune Turbo engine... I ran a stock b20 for months in my EG Coupe with no problems and yes i ran that thing hard... no problems what so ever.

no it wouldnt. for the same price i would pay for a Type R, i could build a b18B, B20, or B18C GSR and walked that hyped up engine.

and technically a Type R is already built h:

if i had to go all motor with a Honda, fuck a B series and drop a K series in there.

B18C Type R as well as the C5 is over priced again. yes ive driven both engines. they are not as powerful as everyone says they are. its a good engine....still...over priced....

the only thing the same basically on the GSR engine wise is the block which is the same. Internals, etc... different.

B18C gsr is a better platform IMO
