Seriously, check the classifieds sections of this site and honda-tech, craigslist, or ebay.

will a short shifter significantly reduce the ratios on my stock ls trans, what do you guys think about running the stock ls trans with the ls/vtec setup?

I think a short shifter only reduces time between shifts... I head that if u use your ls crank and ls rods, the ls tranny will work fine... but i head that with gsr or any other internals it won't be that great... because the ls tranny is made for the long stroke of ls motor... NOT really sure... Just what i head

It doesn't do anything to the ratios. It just reduces shift throw.

The LS tranny has really long gears, so if you are looking for acceleration, you should think about a B16 or GSR tranny.
