*** main problem*** ok i have a problem with my motor.....i cant seem to see whats wrong with it bogging?.i have a 92 honda prelude with h23a/ automatic, heres the problem, everytime i start the car and take off it seems to hesitate to take off for like 3seconds, i guess its bogging, then while driving it jerks the motor like its misfireing or something..can someone please help me out thanks...i changed the plugs,cap,rotors,wires and file filter..also when im in park the idle tends to jump up and down constantly from 1k-3k..

also another problem is that the motor wants to overheat...i had the pressure checked out it was fine, coolent level is good....it will want to over heat when i wait like in a mcdonald line. if i drive like in traffic it seems to want to over heat. i hear the fan kick in but it still the gauge go up to overheat. i changed the thermostat. and i still have this problem..pretty much when i leave the car on for a long time it heats up..can some one please help. thanks a million

 

1 - Try running fuel injector cleaner through it. And change your fuel filter. Also check for vacuum leaks.

2 - Look at the front of the radiator, are most of the fins all smashed together? If the pressure is good and you changed your thermostat, I'm thinking it's time for a new radiator.

 

ok i replaced the fuel filter...but still same problem....how would i clean the fuel injections?...i bout the fuel injection cleaner fluid where i pored it in the gas tank...still same things happening...

also the radiator looks fine to me....can these problems be something else?...thanks agina

 

how would i go check the vacumm leak?
