I have a 9 lb in my GSR.

The performance is like night and day. Throttle response is much improved, rev matching is much easier, and it is a lot more fun to drive. It takes a little getting used to, but it is a good investment.

There are no idle problems with it, but it does stall occasionally when coming out of higher revs.

The tranny and clutch assembly will need to be removed to change out the flywheel. Tranny type doesn't matter. All of the B-series flywheels are interchangeable.

i believe that the momentum of the factory flywheel actually kinda helps torque, the lighter the flywheel the quicker the engine slows down when you dump the clutch, not to say theyre bad, cuz ive heard nuthin but good about em...

as far aas i know lightened flywheel aren't bad as long as u stay within a repectable weight range for ur specific setup. If ur going n/a i wouldn't go lighter than 10or9lbs.
