Help me PLEASE my b20 is blowing fuel out of #1 cylinder and runs like S***!

Default Help me PLEASE my b20 is blowing fuel out of #1 cylinder and runs like S***!

Hi I had a h22a1 in my 98 civic dx now i swapped in a b20. Everything was going good for a while but now it has a rough idle it hesitates and boggs down when you hit the gas. Its throwing a code for an injector please can anyone point me in the direction i need to go PLEASE

hi debra, play a little revolving injectors and see if the problem goes to a different cylinder, or put a new injector in the port for the cylinder blowing fuel out, if that dont work get a multimeter and check for intermittent spark, if thats good check compression in the shitty running cylinder, cheers good luck

if non of that works, this is far fetched k but, use the multimeter and check pulse on the offending injectors wiring and reference with the good working ones see if there's a difference, that could means bad ecu or parts within, I'm not a seasoned honda ecu guy but, I think there are transistors in that ecu that control the injector pulse, and they are controled by fuel map and sensor resistance values, not sure bout these hondas having that setup in there but sometimes u can just saulder a new one in and be good to go,, some deep shit right there though, I personally hate wiring and electronix cause they're so damn easy to break but I love when I"m done messing around and its finally fixed, its a damn good feeling, hope some of this helps!
