Default Identifying trannies...

How would one decipher what kind of tranny they have... Like I know there are 2 different YS1's with 2 different gear ratios... And let's say I was going to buy one... How would I know I was getting a short-geared YS1 from a b16a vs. a YS1 like the one I already have in my 93?

Thanks.

Harry

I don't know if there's any way to tell the difference by mere physical appearance of the tranny. Perhaps there's a certain stamp that says it's JDM or USDM. :dunno:

Tear it apart & start counting gear teeth.
