What kind of an auto tranny is in the 88-91 civic sedans? The reason I ask is because my friend bought a "new" tranny from a wrecking yard for his 90 civic sedan and when it came to installing the new tranny, everything was the same except the wrecking yard tranny had an extra solenoid. Does he have the correct tranny? Does anything need to be plugged in there, or is he okay without anything being plugged in that extra solenoid.

 

hey i'll sell him the one from my hatch when i do my swap...it only has like 85k on it at the time and i dont do that much driving...lemme know if he wants it
