Well, I guess not everybody runs the same exhaust configuration.
My dp was welded to my flex pipe that in turn was welded to my cat.
Had I bought a kit that comes with a downpipe i'm sure my downpipe would have a flange to bolt to my cat, but since my set-up is all custom I don't have that option.

The only reason I am planning on using a thicker head gasket was to lower my hp without the turbo, so when I put the turbo on it will create about the same amount if not more tq than hp. Is this true or is it a waste of money to put a thicker head gasket on my motor.
Don't waste your money on a thicker head gasket.
You'll almost never get more tq then hp out of a honda motor, they are small displacement engines so tq is usually going to be lower then hp.
On the plus side, d-series motors make great tq compared to their larger b-series brothers. I've seen d16's make 50whp less then my b16a did and make about 10ftlbs of tq more then my b16a (same engine)...It's not hard to get a d16 to make about 220whp and close to if not more then 200ft lbs of tq.
Ok guys I have been doing some series research on how to read compressor maps but i still am not 100% sure on how to read them. I have pretty much everything on the map figured out but still don't know quite how they work. Heres what I have as info on my car. Pressure ratio @8lbs of boost 1.54 airflow between 16-59lb/min. Please help me out how to read the compressor maps I don't understand exactly how they work.
