Prelude CLUTCH Line Problems...!!! Please Read.
Hi,
Need input. My Factory Pressurized Cluth Line Was damaged in my engine Bay.
The Line Leading From the Clutch Master Cylinder to the Transmission.
Honda Part # 33649
#10 on list in this diagram http://www.hondaautomotivepart...INDER
It's a Long Story....But it's been replaced. Everything works fine but routing the new hose was a real pain. It is now rubbing in (4) Places. On (2) other pressurized lines, the firewall, and another area. I can hear rattling at certain RPMs and can see were it rubbing on the other hoses and will sooner or later cause a problem.
I was going to try and bend it a little to try and stop the rubbing. I might be able to.
BUT.....
I saw Goodridge lines and fitting and thought about using a Flexible Fose and fitting to replace the pre-bent stock hose.

Can this be done???????? Will it work???????
I was thinking of custom making the line the same length and use zip ties and route it as a replacement. No rubbing and No problems.
Any Info Will Help.

Yes, you can do it. Yes, it will work. Flex-wise, it's not quite as good as a hard line but the difference will hardly be noticable.
Buuut, with a pipe bender you could make your own out of hard line for cheap as well. Keep that in mind.
