Default Brake booster hose size?

I need a new brakebooster hose. It needs to go between an H22 manifold and my civic brake booster. What size hose should I get?

A rubber one. What happened to your stock hose? I would probably just recommend you grab another stock one and use it. I've never checked, but I'm assuming that plastic connector inside it is a check vavle (only lets air go one way) so your going to need to keep that. Probably get one in a junk yard for $.50 and if you don't want to use an old hose or need it longer, take that one to a parts store and match up the tubing so you get the right size. Seeya.

So what would happen if there was no check valve?

I'm not even sure it is a check valve, honestly I never even looked at the damn thing. If it is, it may affect booster effecently at low rpm's (there won't be as much vacuum coming from the engine and the check valve would help hold what it had). I would just go grab one from a junkyard or salvage your old one. Seeya.

No need, I sold the car, but it had what seemed to be an intake leak somewhere I replaced all gaskets and hoses and it was still happening. the only thing missing was that piece of plastic.
