Default gears grind when shifting to 5th on high RPM

What's up people.. hopefully someone can help me. I drive a 2000 prelude.. and when I rev about 5.5+ and shift to 5th gear and the gears grind.. just wondering if anyone else has experience the problem and what should i do to fix this?

It's your synchros going bad.

@ 5500 rpm? in 5th gear? how'd you notice that? I'd leave it. It'll cost you big bucks to fix, and how often do you use 5th (the guy noticed a high rpm grind going into 5th, maybe I shouldn't talk) I'm guessing the synchros and stuff ins't as strong for the overdrive.

You synchros are probably going out, just double clutch

The grinding occurs at high rpms going into 5th, not necessarily at 5500... when i drive hard from 1-2.. i shift to 5th because I'll be drive about 50+mph in 2nd... and the grinding occurs there... just wondering what was happening and if that is normal.... obviously that's not how I drive normally. Just wondering if I should be concerned with it and get it fixed... maybe warranty covers it.
