Default Car won't start...need some help.

Car: 93 CX hatch
Motor: b16a

Last night I changed the cam gear (skunk2) timing back to zero, and put on my Vision corners. Went to go start my car and...

*click*

That's all I get. Starter doesn't try to go , motor doesn't crank. Just one solid "click" and that's all I get.

I've checked all my ground wires and they are good...batteryy is fine, we even replaced mine with my friends Optima batterey and still nothing. I can push start it, but, that's it. It was running fine earlier.

Here's my ?? can it be the starter? Does a starter just crap out all of a sudden like that? I haven't checked my fuses yet, so maybe something is blown. Could I have caused a short when I installed my corners somehow? (i have done this a million trillion times, but you never know) Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not stressing too bad because my friend has a spare gsr starter, but I just hope it's not a short.

what kind of charge does your battery have. that sounds a lot like your battery has just enough juice to cause the solenoid in the starter to click. or your starter solenoid may have **** the bed. see if it'll crank with a jump start.

Doesn't crank at all, we switched out my battery with my friend's and still no juice. Plus usually you notice the starter getting slower as your battery dies...well now that I think about it, I don't know. My friends battery has been sitting for a few months, so it is very possible it his may be dead as well (even though it is an Optima red top)

Well I'll jump it tonight before I switch out the starter.

If the battery was good, and the starter was bad, you'd hear a clicking sound when you turn the key. Doublecheck all your fuses and see if you didn't short one out somehow.
