Are you going FI? If so, all this garbage about ITB is useless to you. The head choice is dependant on whether or not you are going FI. ITR has lower compression and the GSR has higher compression. It is about .2 points difference on a with a stock GSR block and pistons, so it is pretty negligible if you are throwing dished pistons in there anyway.

Then go with the GSR head for higher compression.

You got it backwards buddy... USDMs ITR has 10.6:1, GSR with 10.0:1.

And another thing.
Garbage with ITB's???? Not necessarily. Look at tony the tigers GSR running high 11s low 12s with ITBS and high boost. True they are hard as shit to tune, but once tuned make WONDERFUL power.

He said if i wasnt going FI (ie... no boost)

and i think that the gsr head can achieve higher compression... that the ITR head lost compression but gained it back using higher compression pistons.... i think..

No... he said

and no, the GSR head doesn't make more compression then the ITR head vs. head.

High 11s low 12s isn't something to write home about with a turbo'd car running high boost.
