Default Rear Brake Conversion

I am thinking of converting the rear brakes on my Civic from drum to disc. I was thinking the easiest way to do that would be to find an old Acura at a junk yard somewhere and grab a bunch of parts from it.

I really want to do this, since I don't think it will be very expensive but wanted to make sure that everything is compatible.
I was thinking it is because the Civic and Acura Integra are basically built on the same platform from what I know.

Anyone done this or know the rear brakes of these two cars real well?????

Thanks Guys.

BTW, I have a 97 DX 4dr

should work if you get all the hardware off a junker. probably won't be too expensive either. you'll probably have to relocate the e-brake cable. that's about it. then again i'm not a civic guy so what the hell do i know?

94-01 Integra stuff bolts on. You need disc hubs, calipers, rotors, pads, lines, parking brake cables, hardware, etc. You can get the entire trailing arms and it might be easier to swap them as a complete unit, but it's not necessary. Del Sol parts work too, but you need Integra parking brake cables. Oh, and 99-00 Si parts work too. The entire swap should be no more than 200-300, depending on whether you're getting the MC and booster, but they aren't absolutely necessary.

Why is this in Engine Tech?
