auto < manual for speed in a honda.

Oh, I know that, but it'll be a little better...you really have no idea how slow this is...I can barely keep up with a 96 blazer...and I get my ass kicked by a chevy 2001 s-10 ZR-2...plus the suspension friggin sucks, I almost roll when turning at 20mph...I dunno I'm just not that happy with it at this point...

Parents don't want me having a manual transmission, I can drive one well but they are not "comfortable" with the idea.

This is really the only money I have to mod it...you think I could go to a used car dealer and straight up trade or maybe put down my car plus 1200 for an nice integra?

why the hell would that not allow you to drive a manual transmission?

probably a good idea that you keep the slow car, kids your age tend to get them selves wrapped around trees with power. Wait till your 18 then get your self something nicer. For now this is a car to get from point A to point B, while using an automatic your never going to be able to truly put power to ground effectivly. So just do the basic intake/header/exaust get a decent suspension on there and wait for the day you can make your own decisions.

Eh, I had a new mazdaspeed protege, and I wrecked...It was because of pure stupidity, not racing, just driving normal...anyway my dad didn't want me to have a stickshift in the first place, and after this, he just said there is no way...he thinks I would stall in the middle of an intersection, and that it distracts you from driving. I drive my dad's 5spd accord all the time, so I don't really understand his logic...If I don't want to drive my car he'll offer me his, but when I come to ask him to sell my car...he says thats fine but no manual... :wtf:
