help with civic h/b

Default help with civic h/b

well i am interested in getting a COMPLETE motor swap, now i have a 98 civic h/b and about 2500 to spend on a swap (including labor) since i will be getting it done professionally now what is the best engine i could drop into the civic with my price range? i heard someone say a h22, but is it true that they would have to drop the a/c? to fit it? info would help

how much they run for? with labor etc. and how much hp

complete swap and labor for 2500???

maybe u should check out..
www.car-part.com
instead of www.hmotorsonline.com

swapping motors isnt all that tough, just get a helms manual, the tools and confidence.

for $2500, swap and labour, you aren't getting far. Maybe a B16A or B18B, but that's streching it.

ya for 2500 + labor your looking at a b18b1 or a first gen b16. A h22 will cost you about 2500 and a GSR about $2500-$3000
