Default Need some B20vtec info

Okay people, who has a B20vtec setup with stock block internals, what RPM do you rev 2, and how long did it last you. Give me details of your set up.
I want to do one but have no money to change the sleeves. The only thing I might be able to change is mabey the pistons, or if not that, the rod bolts, but if I find out I can do it with stock block interals I will. Give me some info on this.

My friend has a B20vtec setup running with a GSR head, tranny, and ECU. His rev limiter is at 8200 just like a GSR. Hes already had that car for about a year running on stock internals

I agree. The OEM rod bolts don't like 8k+ rpm. However, there are people that have seen 8k daily on a stock b20 block, but I wouldn't do it. Just make sure the bolts are properly stretched during the install.

He doesn't do it safely.
