transmissions?
my question is what are the pros and cons to the separate b-series transmissions? for a g2 integra, which do u think would be best? b16 tranny, GS-R tranny, or LS tranny. can some one explain the differences and what makes them better, or worse. thanks.

but unless you are making 400+ horsepower I would stick with the shortest geared trannies. (b16a, ITR)
shorter the gears the faster you accelerate...of course the freeway ride will be a big more high reved in fifth, but it is worth it.
no, unless you plan on making regular 160+ mph runs.
The shorter the gears the better, it's not going to hurt your motor down the highway as long as you stay off the high lift cam profile, which mean you can cruise all day at 90-100 without worrying, just don't skimp on oil changes or regular maintenance, it shouldn't overheat, the short fifth is nice for some passing oomph, no need to downshift.

Remember guys, this is a G2 Integra. That means cable, or a pricey conversion kit.
Your three real choices are first gen B16A (SiR, XSi, RSi,) B18A (normal YS1), or B17A (GS-R version YS1) Given this lineup, the stock B18A trans is the longest, the B16A's fall in the middle, and the B17A trans is very similar to the later ITR trans, very short.
I'd go with a B17A version YS1, though they are getting rare and very expensive.
