Default 2000 Civic DX (swapping in a 95 LS) Wiring Question

My friend has a 2000 Civic DX Hatch. Its 5 speed and he blew his d16y7. So He got a 94 Integra LS Engine, Del Sol B16A tranny, and it came with a 93 Integra ECU. It says 93 on the ecu anyways. He ordered it from Hmotors. We already ordered the adapter to go from 99-00 civic wiring to the obd1 LS ecu. So my question is if your using the obd2 wiring harness on an obd1 engine will all the plugs plug up?
Thanks

I think you posted about this already but im to lazy to check. Umm well yeah everything should work fine with that ECU but just because he is getting the obd2b-obd1 harness does'nt mean your whole car is converted to OBD1. I have not done a swap into a 2000 but I do know that everything will not plug right up. Im sure there are 2 plugs that need to be extended. And a few other issues but other then that the swap is easy.

I havent posted on this before actually. Do you know what wires will have to be extended? Will all the plugs fit into the sensors though? Any more info will be helpful.
Thanks

Make sure you get the 94 ls harness that will make it a little easier for you.

no no no. The 94 harness is obd1 he can not use that. you will need a obd2 harness. Then again I have never done this swap b4 so im not 100% sure if I am wrong but I do know that you will not need the 94 harness.

they may plug in, but it will not work. the wires are in different locations in the plugs.

This is part of the reason that it's technically illegal to put this engine in the car. Plus it's much harder to get it to work because of how different the OBD2 Civic wiring harnesses are from the OBD1 Civics and all Tegs. What you really need is some kind of OBD1 harness. Even a Civic OBD1 harness will work. These harnesses will only reach the strut towers though. I've never actually swapped an OBD1 Bseries motor into an OBD2 Civic so I don't know how the harness connects to the ECU. I wish I could help you further, but you're really in a pickle.

99+ civic's got obd 2.1 wiring harnasses.

which do not combine at the strut tower. they run from the engine as one piece all the way to to the ecu.

if i'm thinking it through properly. a 99-00 si harnass would've been done you perfectly fine and then a jumper to go to the obd1 ecu.

but being an ls i'm not too sure. it's too pieced together of a swap to make it easy.
can be done to run, but just a pain in the ass.
