B series is the most ideal daily driving power plant. It is a 1.6 and 1.8 liter engine that have different choices to go with. You can go with a turbo on a B16 and get pretty good numbers out of that or go high cr on a b18c5 which can be pretty rediculous when you see it in person. But because B series engines are so variant, you can do whatever you want with them and they'll be nice to you. Plus they're DOHC, D series are not apart from the ZC.

Yeah they are all daily driving engines, what kind of car would this be in? Thats when the different motors mean different things...you arent gonna shove a B16 in a prelude...

The newest Prelude has an engine more suited for daily driving, since it actually has torque to speak of.

Most Si coupes come with a B16, which is generally 160hp. If you add a few bolt-ons then that number can change but not that much. The real power comes in when you add a turbo or supercharger. You should however note then when adding upgrades like those you have to take into account the compression ratio of the car (which is by nature rather hi) as well as the ignition and fuel system.
