B series is the most ideal daily driving power plant. It is a 1.6 and 1.8 liter engine that have different choices to go with. You can go with a turbo on a B16 and get pretty good numbers out of that or go high cr on a b18c5 which can be pretty rediculous when you see it in person. But because B series engines are so variant, you can do whatever you want with them and they'll be nice to you. Plus they're DOHC, D series are not apart from the ZC.
